Bayou Country Superfest Lineup

I don’t have to be WAFB’s Jay Grimes to tell you that it will be considerably cooler for this year’s Bayou Country Superfest than previous years. Because now the event has moved to the Mercedes Benz Superdome in New Orleans. In fact, for those of you in the upper deck, you might want to bring a jacket because it does get chilly up there.

Every year, people ask me about if I think that this year’s lineup is strong. I would say that this year they have some of the best concert crowd generators in the business. I think they could’ve added a Chris Stapleton or Garth Brooks but scheduling probably didn’t allow that to happen. They’re getting a lot of repeat performers because again you can’t just think of talent wise but can they draw a crowd. When you put a lot of money into this-you have to make that money you paid that artist plus more to do it again.

Here is the 3-day lineup for the 2017 BCS in NOLA:

Friday May 26th- Dylan Scott (7:00PM), Eric Paslay (8:10), & Easton Corbin (9:30)

Saturday May 27th- Chris Lane (5:00PM), Jon Pardi (5:40), Brett Eldridge (6:45), Rascal Flatts (8:00), Brooks & Dunn (9:35) & Miranda Lambert (11:15)

Sunday May 28th- Maddie & Tae (5:00PM), Dan + Shay (5:40), Old Dominion (6:45), Hank Williams Jr. (7:50), Thomas Rhett (9:15) & Blake Shelton (10:45).
