It’s only a matter of time before Thomas Rhett starts winning all the awards because he’s coming up with hit after hit. After “Unforgettable,” spent a couple of weeks at #1, his new song, “Marry Me” is climbing fast to that same spot. As soon as fans saw the title on the CD “Life Changes,” they were lining up that song as the new wedding song of the year but if you listen to the song, you’ll know that’s not the case. The story tell us about a life long friendship with a boy and a girl who come close to kissing but never do. Then one day she wants to get married but not to her friend from childhood. His heart is broken because he never took advantage of the situation and she’s marrying someone else. Great video and the song should give Thomas Rhett his 10th #1 hit.
Tickets go on sale this Friday for Thomas Rhett, Brett Young and Russell Dickerson in the Cajundome in Lafayette on Thursday May 17th. Keep listening to your Country Concert Station, 100.7 The Tiger to win yours.
