Reports surfaced this weekend that country music legend David Allen Coe had suffered a couple of strokes and is clinging to life. According to his guitarist, Beebe Lee, who turned to social media to announce that it was an inner-ear infection. Coe’s son also reported on Saturday that his father was home from the hospital and also denied that he suffered a stroke.
David Allen Coe was supposed to play in Flint, Michigan over the weekend when he had to cancel because of a “unforeseen illness.” No word on how long the icon will be out for. He is scheduled to perform March 11-17 at the Iron Horse Saloon in Daytona.
