When Kenny Chesney’s new album drops on July 27th, just know it has nothing to do with one of his favorite football teams. “Songs For the Saints,” is about people of the US Virgin Islands that were nearly destroyed by Hurricane Irma. Chesney’, who co-wrote the song has a house there and says the Island still has a long way to go in recovery. This will be the 1st release on his new record label Blue Chair/Warner Bros. Nashville. His 1st cut from that album, “Get Along,” has already labeled as a success because it’s climbing the charts very quickly. Fans can expect 12 new songs for the Tennessee native that took 2017 off from touring and returns with new stadium shows that will have his fans screaming. By they way, Kenny’s home in St. John was totally destroyed during Hurricane Irma.
