“Zippity Zoo Fest is one event that’s particularly near and dear to the Zoo,” said Jim Fleshman,
Zoo Director. “Not only does it provide the perfect atmosphere for children and their parents to
shake off their cabin fever, but it allows all of us to celebrate the many years of connecting
people with wildlife and wild places since the Zoo opened on Easter Sunday 1970.”
Activities at Zippity Zoo Fest 2022 will include:
Children’s Area
Princesses and other special characters will be on hand for photo opportunities near the Zoo’s
Capital One Pavilion. We will also have inflatables and crafts for the kids to enjoy.

Located next to our Children’s Area, enjoy the talents of a variety of groups from across the
region. All entertainment is free and included in Zoo admission price.
