This newly updated 5K Run through the Zoo is a Baton Rouge favorite!
It features a professionally managed and timed 5K Run that begins and ends in the zoo but also goes through renovated sections of Greenwood Park.
This event includes a half-mile Kid’s Fun Run. All entrants receive an official event t-shirt, race bib with timing chip, and a participant medal. Trophies are awarded to winners in various age groups!
The Zoo Run averages 600-800 participants plus their guests. All proceeds from this event benefit conservation and community education programs of the Baton Rouge Zoo.
